NRA Recommends Young Women Have Sex with Mentally Ill

In the wake of the a mass shooting that left 7 people dead and over a dozen more injured in Isla Vista, California last week, the National Rifle Association is recommending women have sex with the mentally ill.

Responding to reports that the shooter referenced his inability to procure sexual relations with any of his his co-eds as motivation for his spree, NRA spokesman Steven Eldridge called out America's young female population.

"Some of these young ladies these days are a bit too full of themselves. If just one got her nose out of the air long enough to sleep with this disturbed young man, a terrible tragedy could have been averted," Eldridge said.

Eldridge later addressed critics who called his remarks "reckless" and "outrageous".

"What I find to be outrageous is that someone so clearly deranged was allowed to remain a virgin for so long," Eldridge argued, "Rejecting the crude advances of a psychotic individual merely because they are deeply unsettling is what is truly reckless."

Many guns rights supporters have applauded the NRA's position on the Isla Vista shootings.

Commented one man: "You see a live grenade like this you gotta hit the deck and blow him. Take one for the team, ladies."

Eldridge has since added: "The only thing that stops a bad man with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Or sometimes a nice girl who gives good head."
