Hillary Clinton Selects Insult Comic Lisa Lampenelli as Running Mate

In an election where political experience and policy has increasingly taken a backseat to childish name calling, Hillary Clinton upped the ante today with the announcement of insult comic Lisa Lampanelli as her running mate.

Lampenielli, a veteran of the comedy roast circuit known for her ruthless and acerbic wit, wasted no time laying into presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.

"Dicknose Don," Lampenelli christened Trump with a new nickname on her Twitter feed. "What a phony. You think he ate any of those steaks he pedaled on QVC? The only fascist less interested in tasting his own meat was Mussolini, and he was dead at the time."

In another Tweet submitted minutes later, Lampenelli tweaked Trump for his immigration policy.

"Yeah, let's build a wall. Sure. That's like me putting a zipper between the blacks and my snatch. Show me a twenty foot border wall and I'll show you a Mexican with a twenty foot ladder. #NiggerPlease," she wrote.

Clinton, speaking at a fundraiser in Los Angeles this afternoon, chuckled in response to her new running mate's barbs.

"Oh yeah, it's really happening folks," she remarked.
