New Reality Show "Crash" Features Celebrities in High Speed Collisions

CBS is set to debut the highly anticipated "Crash" tonight, a reality show that will feature celebrities taking part in a variety of high speed collisions.

"The stars are going to collide!" the show's trailer teases over footage of a speeding Trans-Am driven by Gary Busey crashing horrifically into riding lawn mower piloted by Tina Yothers.

Other members of the Crash cast include Daniel Baldwin, Kid Rock, Bristol Palin, Darryl Strawberry, Victoria Jackson, Casey Anthony and Joey Lawrence, who reportedly will be catapulted into the side of a parking garage in the show's premiere episode.

"Put on your seatbelts America – this show's going to be a real smash!" Creator Nathan Wolfe warned, "The stars on Crash aren't going to be over the top – they're going to be straight through the middle!"

Criticized by some for being overly dangerous, the show's producers point out that it's celebrity cast members will receive training from professional stuntmen and circus performers prior to being launched into something.

Remarked daredevil and "Crash" coach Dan Barden: "I can certainly speak from a long career of experience in helping these people prepare, though I can't honestly say I've ever tried downhill skiing through a concrete wall, so… my advice to Mrs. Palin is to basically just go limp."
