Tale of the Tape: Compare Biden, Trump's Mental Fitness

A lot has been made of the mental fitness of both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump heading into the rematch of their 2020 showdown this November 5th. The following is a tale of the tape to help you make your decision at the ballot box:

• Number of words starting with the letter 'P' listed verbally in 60 seconds: Trump, rather than listing individual words, said: "Pretty much all the words. I know all the best words." Biden listed 12 words, including: Prilosec, Parkinsons, Prednisone and Pramipexole.

• The Sunday Jumble, completed by 100 random people in an average of 14 minutes and 27 seconds: Biden finished in 15 minutes and twelve seconds, correctly solving all the words and the riddle. Trump finished in 43 seconds, but without correctly unjumbling any of the words, writing GREESY for GEYSER, TUGBOAT for BUCKET, TOILET for LOTION, PADKEY for KEYPAD, and NACHOS for BOTANY. His answer to the riddle: "The man was going bald pretty quickly, but was trying to 'Bumfat Splurge'" was also incorrect.

• Number of grandchildren correctly identified: Biden correctly recognized all 7 of his grandchildren. Trump correctly named 8 of his 10 grandchildren, misidentifying his son Eric's children Carolina and Luke as "Dorothy" and "Clyde".

• Number of countries in NATO correctly identified: Biden named 29 out of 32 correctly. Trump remarked: "Who cares?"

• Number of 7 common animals correctly identified: Biden correctly named 6 out of 7 animals, misidentifying a chicken for a lion. Trump also correctly named 6 out of 7 animals, misidentifying a donkey for a goat.
