Where Are They Now? - 70s Beauty Now 70, Unattractive
A former Miss Kentucky, the gorgeous, young Allison Markley attained international success both in fashion and on screen during the early 1970s, appearing on runways all over the world and in such films as "Accidental Disclosure," and "Someone Kidnapped My Daughter."
The fame and fortune didn't last however, as Markley has long slipped from the spotlight.
"Things started slowly tapering off in the late 70s, then more or less dried up completely by the mid-80s," Markley, now in her early 70s, recalled. "I guess that's the way it goes."
Once cast as the sultry Donna Dyson on the serial soap "Days of Our Lives", the now unattractive and mostly forgotten Markley spends most of her time managing the small bookstore she owns in Laguna Beach, California and spending time with her three grandchildren.
"I really couldn't be happier. I wouldn't trade my life now for anything in the world," she lied. "I love my life now."
Asked if anyone ever asks what happened to her, Markley looked puzzled and claimed that she didn't understand the question.
