Kardashians Respond to Drought by Limiting How Much Water Landscapers Drink

Addressing California's severe drought, Kim Kardashian announced yesterday that she and hubby Kanye West have implemented new restrictions on how much water the landscapers who tend their 3½ acre estate in Hidden Hills will be allowed to drink.

"It's sad that it hasn't rained enough this year, so we all need to stick together and make sacrifices," the reality TV star wrote on Twitter.

Though neither Kardashian nor West responded to online queries regarding other possible sources of conservation, including their home's sprawling lawns, vineyards or swimming pools, Kardashian tweeted several other suggestions for ways her fellow Californians could help save water.

"Save water, drink Pepsi. Yum!" she offered, as well as: "Maybe we don’t need to send the fire department out every time one of these ghettos burns down."

Not the only Kardashian to pitch in, Kourtney Kardashian has since tweeted plans to limit showers and toilet water usage for staff members she doesn't directly interact with.

"I never see half of the people who work for me, so it doesn't really matter if they stink," she said.
