Former Chargers Season Ticket Holder Looking Forward to Sundays Getting Drunk at Home, Picking Fights with Family

Despite his disappointment over his team leaving San Diego for Los Angeles, former Chargers fan Scott Lowry says he's looking forward to spending his extra future Sundays getting drunk and picking fights with people around his own home.

"It's sad to lose the bolts, but hey, I guess that frees up ten more Sundays a year," Lowry said.

A husband and father of three, the 40 year-old Carlsbad man says he figures there's always enough alcohol and people around his residence with whom he can engage in fisticuffs.

"The way my wife and kids look at me sometimes, it's like they're practically begging for it," he remarked. "And the beer will be way-the-fuck cheaper. That's for god damn sure."

Notably, Lowry estimates he'll save as much as $1,500 a year now that the Chargers have bolted.

"On top of tickets and booze, there was the medical expenses. Sometimes at Qualcomm (Stadium) I'd get my ass kicked pretty bad," he said. "I don't think any of the punks around here will give me much trouble, though."

Lowry went on to mention one more benefit of his team leaving town.

"Not having to watch the Chargers blow another seven fourth quarter leads in one season will be nice," he said. "Fucking Chokers."
